About Me
My name is Lise Edwards, and I’m a singer with a passion for music, storytelling, and honoring the legacy of those I love.
I was born on August 6th, 1966, in Cardiff, Wales, to a Welsh father and a Norwegian mother.
When I was six, my parents divorced, and my mother and I moved to Sandefjord, Norway. Although I grew up in Norway, my heart has always been tied to Wales, and I deeply missed my dad throughout my life until his passing in 2022.
Music has always been part of my story.
Both my parents were singers — my dad had a beautiful voice and a love for Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow, while my mother has sung in choirs all her life. Inspired by them, I’ve been singing since I was a child — from school performances to choir, and later at parties, in the car, or simply for the joy of it.
I’m a proud mother of three wonderful children — Serine (1986), Ben (1988), and Sophia (1997) — and grandmother to six amazing grandchildren.
Since 1991, I’ve worked as a Service Employee at Oslo Torp Airport for Widerøe, where I handle check-in and gate operations.
Today, I live in Arendal, Norway, with my boyfriend and manager, Lars “Fredrico” Øigaren.
Together, we love to travel, discover new places, attend concerts, and cheer on our favorite sports — from football and Formula 1 to skiing and handball.
In 2020, we began dreaming of making music together, performing covers in Spanish pubs to escape the Norwegian winter.
A friend encouraged us to explore Country Rock, a genre that felt like home thanks to my lifelong connection with country music.
After teaming up with the talented Lasse “Lazz” Jensen in 2024, we’ve released eight songs so far, with more on the way — blending Country Rock with touches of rock and pop.
This journey has been incredible
from recording songs to preparing for my very first live performance at a festival in Fredrikstad this summer.
I’m grateful for the amazing people who’ve written songs for me, and for the chance to bring their music to life.
Above all, this adventure is a tribute to my dad — my hero — who I know is still with me in spirit, raising a pint and cheering me on: “Go for it, my baby.”
It’s never too late to follow your dreams.
